The lovely, 40's-lookin' movie theater at Fort DuPont. During the Second World War, the US Army's XIII Corps, whose home base was Fort DuPont, was the American unit that got closest to Berlin in April of 1945, about 50 miles, near the town of Tangermunde. The political decision was made to stay out of Berlin so that the Red Army could have all the looting 'n' raping fun. Maybe the US Army should have taken Berlin, and the USSR could've had Fort DuPont.
