Here's what it looks like under a starfort bastion! Well, a reconstructed starfort, anyway. A real starfort would have been a smidge more solid than this. As I was lying on the ground taking this picture, I was accosted by a friendly dog, which licked my face by way of introduction. I believe the dog's name was Hannah, and was owned by one of the fort's caretakers, who called off the lickattack once he determined I wasn't really trying to climb all the way under the fort.
