Here we see some extra fiberglass Totten Shutter reproductions. The Ranger on duty told me that they're made in nearby Alabama, and that after a recent hurricane they needed to replace almost all of them, as the storm had ripped them from the fort and scattered them around the Gulf. Had they been rebuilt of iron, like the originals, sure they would have cost around $5,000 each, but they would've stayed put during a hurricane!
