What's left of Fort Dorchester's southeast bastion. Once again, was this a full bastion, or was it a gated entrance? The fort had a service life of maybe 20 years or so, so it could have originally been built with four complete (half-) bastions, and when the southeast one fell apart, whomsoever was in charge at the time could have said "Meh, we could use a bigger entry anyway." To which his slaves breathed a sigh of relief.
