Head south from Fort Dorchester's open southeast bastion, and you come across this: A more recent tabby wall piece! I'm not sure how old this is (I suspect not very), but it displays the color that the fort's walls would have been during their period of active duty with the British and American militaries. Minus the outer coat of stucco, which was uniformly neon pink, with lime green polkadots. Again, the sign A Concrete Solution deals with how these walls were made...but does not mention the day-glo colors of the stucco, because that information is embarassing.
